 This exam is due Thursday, August 24th. The information needed for the exam was gathered from the NFHS Rule book, Case book, 2023 NFHS Rule changes bulletin (see below), the MIAA website and the EMAIFO website. Please select the answer that best answers the question provided. The purpose of this preseason exam is to help you and EMAIFO identify strengths and weaknesses with your knowledge and application of the 2023 NFHS rules. Although completion of this exam is mandatory, it is not evaluative. The results will be used by the Board of Directors to plan and improve your training for the Fall.
     The Board of Directors encourages you to take the exam the first time WITHOUT a book or notes. This will show you what you remember from last season. Afterwards, we encourage you to take the exam as many times as you want in an open book and open note fashion until you earn the score that you wish to earn. In addition, we work as a team to apply these rules on the field, and we encourage you to work in groups to complete the exam. However, using the feedback from another official’s corrected exam is forbidden. Thank you, and good luck!
